This standard presents guidelines for designing cathodic protection systems for reinforcing steel in buried or submerged concrete. This standard also details installation practices, energizing and system adjustment, operation and maintenance, and record retention for these systems. An appendix is included detailing useful testing equipment. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 048.
