This Standard identifies and defines the minimum job performance requirements (JPRs) for Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVTs). Requirements apply to anyone engaged in the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and testing of emergency response vehicles.
The 2006 edition of NFPA 1071 includes:
- A new chapter for Emergency Vehicle Technician III
- Editorial and format changes that make requirements easier to understand and apply
