Description
This method is used to determine the concentration ofdidecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) andalkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (BAC) in treatedwood. The method is not compound specific; the totalequivalence of cationic surfactants is determined. Thisprocedure is intended for routine quality control in woodtreatment and is not suitable for determination of trace levelsof quaternary ammonium compounds in wood.
