Description
Applies to guard rails used in ships, including any intermediate rails fitted between the deck or platform and the top rail. The standard gives the minimum requirements necessary to satisfy the statutory regulations. However, for passenger vessels it is recommended that the Statutory Authority be consulted in regard to the height and spacing of guard rails.
