Description

If NASA has trouble with the second law of thermodynamics, then it should not be surprising that FEMA, HUD, the hotel industry and homebuilders have trouble too. We seem to forget that there are two sides to a wall and there are four seasons—two of which are summer and winter—and that means that vapor drives go both ways. We must be mindful of the second law to build better and more efficient buildings.
