Description
Focuses on the production of chilled water in conjunction with ice-based storage system and examines the impact the storage has on chiller operation. This examination includes the role played by the physical arrangement of the system components on the stability of the chilled-water temperature. Shows that arranging the ice storage in series with the chillers results in an inherently stable system operation while a parallel arrangement presents a more complex problem.
