Description
Charles Bullock, Ph.D., Fellow/Life Member ASHRAE, was in charge of designing the Sistine Chapel’s first HVAC system. His article from the April 1996 ASHRAE Journal explains how the system was designed to minimize the effects of age, pollution, humidity and thermal strain. The article also provides general guidelines for other special buildings.
