Description
Notes that the period 1984 to 1994 saw the concept of district heating and cooling in the USA revived. Many new district heating and cooling systems were established and existing systems expanded. Note the institutional, environmental and economic changes which contributed to the expansion, and pays particular attention to the part played by technical innovations.
