Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1989

Description

Frost formation and growth processes are predicted and discussed. The numerical model presented in this paper is based on molecular diffusion of water vapor, energy, and mass balances as well as equations of state. Numerical results revealed that the proposed model reliably predicted frost growth key parameters (frost thickness and density) and compared well with existing experimental data as well as other analytical models.
