Examines the replacement issues of R22, commercial refrigeration, indirect refrigeration systems and work in Germany to evaluate the suitability of indirect cooling systems for supermarkets, together with new fluids. Discusses the improvement of indirect systems and the use of direct cooling with CO2. In a separate section discusses US refrigerant issues.
