Description
A new air conditioning system is described for the exterior spaces of high-rise office buildings. This system is a modification of the old two-pipe induction system which is considered to be one of the best air cond1tioning systems available. But, it required a very knowledgable des1gner, contractor and operator for proper performance. The electric induction system is a non-changeover operation with constant air volume resulting in simplicity in design and operation. The electric induction system takes advantage of all the merits of the induction system in maintaing an environment meet1ng the fullest definition of air conditioning. The first cost, energy cost and performance of over 5,500,000 square feet (511,000 square metres) of total office space with the system has given very satisfactory results.
