The successful use of coating and/or lining systems for the protection of railcars and transportedcommodities depends on several factors. This standard provides recommendations that assist employers in identifying the basic requirements for the in-house training, testing, and qualification of personnel who perform coating and/or lining inspections for a specific application or project.
