Description
NFPA 1005: Professional Qualifications for Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters identifies the minimum job performance requirements for land-based fire fighters performing functions at Levels 1 and 2 at firefighting operations aboard commercial/military vessels over 50 feet.
This first-time Standard applies to any vessel that calls at North American ports or that is signatory to the International Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) agreement.
