Description
This product is a zip file that contains files that consist of PowerPoint slides synchronized with the audio-recording of the speaker, PDF files of the slides, and audio only (mp3 format) as noted.Distributed energy resources have a key role to play in the transition towards decarbonization and energy resilience of buildings. Recent developments in building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems and standards are making this technology a key component to achieve such transformation. In addition to producing electricity, BIPV also provides various functions of the building envelope while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing architecture. The objective of this seminar is to discuss the technical challenges and available solutions regarding BIPV systems design, implementation and operation. In this seminar, the attendees will gain an understanding of BIPV fundamentals, design and implementation challenges and technical solutions.
