Stratospheric Ozone Depletion: Identifying the Problem and the Solution

$4.00

Journal Article by ASHRAE, 1997

Description

Explains the process of stratospheric ozone depletion caused by chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) compounds. Notes cut-backs in CFC production and use, particularly after the discovery of the Antarctic ‘ozone hole’. Considers that, given the provisions of the Montreal Protocol, the ozone depletion observed in the last two decades would slowly reverse, barring natural disasters such as huge volcanic eruptions.
